A American-Palestinian adolescent who spent 270 days in imprisonment by Israel absent formal charges has been freed.

Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old at the time of his arrest in February in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, during a family visit from his Florida home for allegedly throwing stones against settlement residents, which he previously denied.

American diplomatic officials expressed satisfaction with the teenager's freedom.

Currently aged sixteen, was taken to hospital for treatment immediately after release, according to close relatives.

They said he is visibly pale and thin, and is suffering from conditions developed during imprisonment.

In a statement, family spokesperson conveyed their "overwhelming sense of relief".

The uncle, Zeyad Kadur said the family had been "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" throughout the past nine months.

"At this moment, we are focused on getting Mohammed prompt healthcare he requires after being subjected to mistreatment by authorities and brutal treatment for months."

US officials announced ongoing to extend consular services to the teenager's relatives.

{"US government authorities gives utmost importance to the protection and welfare of US citizens"," the department emphasized.

Several congressional representatives endorsed a document to diplomatic officials and President Donald Trump, requesting additional efforts for his freedom.

The father, parent of four children operating an ice cream shop from Florida, previously said his child admitted guilt to throwing stones after being assaulted by soldiers.

The father hadn't visited nor direct contact following the detention, and only heard what had happened to him in detention through court documents.

The teenager remained lacking indictment in Ofer prison in the West Bank.

The facility also contains adult prisoners, some of whom have been convicted of serious terrorism offences and murder.

There are around 350 Palestinian child security detainees being held in Israeli jails, per correctional service statistics.

Many have never been charged along with monitoring agencies, and international organizations, report instances of physical abuse and torture.

Subsequent to his liberation, the uncle stated relatives would persist in advocating demanding accountability for their family member their cousin Sayfollah.

The 20-year-old dual US citizen according to health authorities died from beating by radical settlers following tensions last July.

Initially, the Israeli military said officials were investigating accounts of a Palestinian was deceased.

Mohammed and Sayfollah collaborated at their family's ice cream business in Tampa, Florida.

No one has been charged with Sayfollah's killing.

"We demand United States leadership to ensure our family's safety," Mr Kadur said.
